Horicon Bank announces the promotion of Meredith Strieff to Senior Vice President – Retail Banking Officer.
Strieff joined Horicon Bank in 2007 as a teller in the bank’s Beaver Dam market. She transitioned to Branch Manager, Regional Manager and Training Department manager. In her new role, Strieff leads the bank’s retail network, Customer Support Center, Virtual Banking team and customer experience enhancements.
“Meredith has been instrumental in driving multiple projects aimed at improving the overall experience for both customers and associates,” said Fred C. Schwertfeger, President of Horicon Bank. “As the Customer Experience Manager, she has led greater efficiencies through the use of technology in the Customer Support Center and Virtual Banking areas.”
Strieff is a recent graduation from the University of Wisconsin Madison’s Graduate School of Banking and is a current member of the American Bankers Association Emerging Leaders Council. Notably, Strieff is the first emerging leader appointed to the ABA Community Bankers Council, a role in which she was the first banker in the nation to serve. Her outstanding contributions to the banking industry were recognized with the American Bankers Association Emerging Leaders Award in 2023.
In addition to her professional achievements, Meredith is deeply committed to her community. She serves as the president of the Horicon Board of Education and the Membership Chair of the Horicon Athletic Booster Club.
“Meredith is a valuable member of our Horicon Bank leadership team,” said Schwertfeger. “She truly lives out our vision of doing good together with our communities and our customers.”
