On Saturday, June 18, runners and walkers alike will line up behind the starting line for Horicon Bank's second 5K Run/Walk for the Red, White and Blue at Discher Park.

This year, all race proceeds benefit the Gold Star Memorial Trail - a local effort to build a recreational trail connecting Dodge County communities from Mayville to Beaver Dam. The trail will also memorialize and honor fallen service members from the area.

And we really are putting the "fun" in fun run! Cash prizes will be given to top male and female finishers, but we're also handing out prizes for the best patriotic costumes worn by participants! That's right. Costumes are encouraged!

The race is designed to be a fun event for a great local cause. Here are the race day details:

Registration: 8:00am
Race Start: 9:00am
Awards: 10:00am

So break out the Uncle Sam hat or Statue of Liberty crown and race for the Red, White and Blue! Register online today! Or  fill out our printable registration form and drop off at any Horicon Bank office!

And stick around after the race for Horicon's Jersey Street Music Festival - right in Discher Park! It's a free music festival featuring local, statewide and national talent. There's even a Jersey Street Parade that starts after the race, so bring the whole family! You won't want to miss it!
